ABSTRACT A wide band Minoan double axe antenna fed by a Co- Planar Waveguide for achieving omni-directional radiation pattern is presented. The proposed antenna is suitable for WLAN 5.2(5.15-5.35GHz) band, WiMAX 2.5/3.5(2.5-2.69GHz, 3.4-3.69GHz) bands, HiperLAN2 (5.47-5.725 GHz) and HiSWaNa (5.15-5.25GHz) wireless application bands. The antenna offers 76% of 2:1 VSWR bandwidth from 2.7GHz to 5.7GHz. […]

Design and Implementation of Smart SCADA in Sugar Mill using LabVIEW
ABSTRACT The objective of this paper is to describe the method for implementing smart features in sugar mill SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. Indian sugar industry is the second largest agriculture based processing industry after the cotton textiles industry in India. There are more than 500 sugar factories in India. Over the years, […]
Particle-in-Cell Simulation for W-Band Power Combiner Multi-Beam Planar Coupled-Cavity Backward Wave Oscillator
ABSTRACT Initially, a design study is presented for a W-band planar coupled-cavity backward wave oscillator at 94.5 GHz. It is numerically simulated using CST particle-in-cell (PIC)-3D simulator and same design validated with another PIC-3D code. Further, output powers of several BWOs combines in a typical manner which resulted power multiplication order of 2.5 times and […]
Laser Beam Machining: A Literature Review on Heat affected Zones, Cut Quality and Comparative Study
ABSTRACT Laser beam machining is a form of non-traditional machining that can machine almost any known materials. It is thermal, non-contact process, which does not induce any mechanical stresses in the work-piece. This paper presents a review on the conclusions of the various research papers available on laser beam machining on the various properties that […]
Improvement DFIG Behaviour against Symmetrical Short Circuit Fault by Superconducting Current Limiter
ABSTRACT With the increase of DG in distribution network, good management of these systems is faced with new challenges. One of the most DG sources is doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG). By connecting them, the short circuit level (SCL) of network has been increased and it may be exceeded over the capacity of equipment such as […]
Successive Passage of Atoms in a Cavity in Interacting Fock Space
ABSTRACT After passing two V -type atoms successively through a single mode interacting field in a cavity we arrive at a state which has been analyzed to study nonclassicality of the evolved state of the system. In the process we plan to study Mandel’s Q-parameter and normal squeezing of the resulting field. [Full Text: PDF]
Fully Automatic Segmentation of Different Brain Tissue from MR Image
ABSTRACT In last few decades Medical Image Processing became one of the most popular and challenging research field due to its non-invasive nature for viewing internal body organs. Medical imaging modalities such as MRI, CT scan mostly depend on computer imaging technology to generate or display digital images of the internal organs of the human […]
Design Methodology for the Fischer-Tropsch Reactor for the Production of Green Diesel from Coal Syngas
ABSTRACT The world is facing declining liquid fuel reserves at a time when energy demand is exploding. Alternative fuel is currently an important issue all over the world due to efforts on reducing the global warming which is contributed by the combustion of petroleum or petrol diesel. In order to achieve a secure and stable […]
WSN Optimization Using BEE Colony Optimization
ABSTRACT WSN is a network which consists of receiver nodes and converse during radio impression, so that monitor and sense takes position in this physical world. The WSN consists of number of difficulties as WSN development is based on some constraints i.e. energy, power, size, bandwidth and memory. In this paper, an optimization approach is […]
Finite Difference Simulation of Fin for Engine Cooling
ABSTRACT Finite difference simulation of horizontal fin with an aspect ratio of 3 has been conducted in the present study for cooling of electronic equipment. Two-dimensional heat conduction equation governs the physical problem. Three different materials Aluminium, Copper and Nickel will be studied to see the effect of thermophysical property on the cooling rate of […]
