ABSTRACT
Polymer blending is one of the fascinating methods for polymer modification. In order to decrease the wear and to develop a material for high strength tribo-mechanical applications, we want to investigate what will be the mechanical and tribological performances of these reinforced polymer blend composites.POM based homopolymer composites are very good as per the study of mechanical applications. POM based polymer blend reinforced with the short fibers is an interesting area of the research work. In this connection, we selected 70 % (POM + PTFE blend) as polymer matrix and up to 30 % wt. short glass fibers as reinforcements. In thispaper, we are discussing only on the mechanical properties.
